Summer Plans

I’m busy booking the summer up.  I have several interesting events you can find on my calendar like the. Feed Store in Westcliffe and the Song of Pueblo.  There’ll be much more to come.  I just booked the La Veta Inn, and the Yellow Pine starts June 13.

Fall Festival in Prescott, AZ

I’ll be playing at the Folk Music Festival in Prescott the first weekend of October.  I’ll have more details as I get them.  This will be a blast!

Video for my song about the Maine Maritime Museum, “We Build the Ships”

I completed a video with the help of Maine Maritime Museum of the song I wrote about the old Percy and Small shipyard in Bath, Maine.  It features pictures of many of the ships built at the old shipyard 100 years ago - the last great wooden schooners.  I’m honored to be part of the 50-year celebration of Mine Maritime Museum.  Here’s the video.

Video for my song, “The Sky Is Blue”

I completed a video for the song I wrote with Don Richmond about my reflection on 9/11 at the tenth anniversary of the event that shook us so badly, “The Sky Is Blue”.  I’ll embed it here for you to see.

Sunday Brunch at Shadow Hills Golf Course

Sundays 10-1 I'm playing for the brunches at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Canon City.  The food is really special and tastes as good as you may remember at the Pueblo West Inn Sunday Brunch which is no surprise since the cook, James Tracy, was also the cook at the Inn when I was there.  It’s just like eating at home!  It's a great price at just $10.95, and features all kinds of goodies - mimosas, omelet and waffle station, desserts, and more.  I have a great spot to play, and there are great views of the mountains.  If you've never been, it's located on Oak Creek Grade just a mile or so south of Elm Avenue.  I go south on 9th Street from the main light in Canon City to the bend in the road where I turn right on Elm by the cemetery.  Then it's just one block on Elm before it veers left and becomes Oak Creek Grade.  Come over the hill and you'll see the restaurant and club house on your left across the golf course and turn left into the drive.  The restaurant is upstairs or take the elevator.
